The first steps to education is experiencing the fun of learning. This is what the Chelsea School District's First Steps program is all about! Children from prenatal to five years old join with their caregivers for an engaging time of learning through music, reading, outdoor activities and play! This adult-with-child learning program meets at the Pierce Lake Early Childhood Center, 275 N. Freer Rd. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Classes are divided into eight-week sessions and advance registration is required and you may choose to participate one day per week or both days each week at registration.
