Our Purpose
LeadHer Athletics is dedicated to helping girls grow as athletes and leaders. Our camps focus on:
- Teaching field hockey and lacrosse skills for players of all levels
- Teaching leadership & teamwork - how to empower yourself and others
- Strengthening footwork, speed and agility
- Getting girls active, confident and engaged
- Encouraging girls to become multi-sport athletes
- Building advanced skills that support college recruiting opportunities
What to Expect
Each camp blends athletic development, skill training and leadership building to create a complete athlete experience. Participants will:
- Develop speed, agility& footwork fundamentals
- Train in primary sport with personalized skill instruction
- Engage in leadership sessions and team-building exercises
- Rotate into a secondary sport to promote well-rounded athletes
- End with daily reflections and motivational takeaways
Zoe Martin
Coach Zoe Martin is a University of Michigan dual-sport athlete, competing at the NCAA Division I level in both field hockey and lacrosse. Her experience excelling in two fast-paced, high-skill sports gives her a unique perspective on athletic development, game awareness, and transferable skills such as footwork, spatial awareness, conditioning, and decision-making under pressure. Balancing the demands of two varsity programs, Zoe brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and competitive mindset to her coaching. She understands how skills learned in one sport can elevate performance in another and is passionate about helping young athletes become well-rounded competitors. Zoe emphasizes fundamentals, athleticism, and confidence, while encouraging players to explore and enjoy multiple sports as they grow. She is excited to mentor young athletes, share her love for both games, and help players develop skills that will benefit them across sports and beyond.
Alana Richardson
Coach Alana Richardson is a University of Michigan field hockey alumna known for her leadership, competitive drive, and ability to perform in high-pressure moments. She brings a strong leadership background to the field, having served as a team captain in high school, where she was recognized for setting standards, motivating teammates, and leading by example. At the collegiate level, Alana played a pivotal role in Michigan’s success by scoring the game-winning goal to secure the Big Ten Tournament Championship last season - a moment that reflects her composure, confidence, and commitment to team success. Her experiences competing and leading at both the high school and collegiate levels shape her mentorship-focused coaching approach.
Claire Taylor
Coach Claire Taylor is a University of Michigan field hockey alumna and former team captain who competed at the NCAA Division I level. A defender for the Wolverines from 2021–2025, Claire was known for her leadership, communication, and ability to organize and elevate those around her on the field. As a captain, she played a key role in setting team culture, mentoring younger players, and leading by example through preparation, work ethic, and accountability. With 12 years of playing experience and 6 years of coaching experience, Claire brings a deep understanding of female athlete development at every stage. She is passionate about teaching strong fundamentals while also helping young female athletes build confidence, resilience, and a love for the game. Claire strives to create an environment where girls feel supported, empowered, and excited to learn both as athletes and as people.
Emmy Tran
Coach Emmy Tran is a University of Michigan field hockey alumna who brings a strong leadership background and a deep understanding of the game to her coaching. She served as a captain of her high school field hockey team, where she was recognized for her game intelligence, consistency, and calm leadership under pressure. A core contributor in the midfield, Emmy is known for her field vision, consistency, and ability to connect all areas of play. Her experience in this role has shaped her player-centered coaching approach, emphasizing decision-making, teamwork, and strong fundamentals. Emmy has coaching experience with Pinnacle Field Hockey, where she has worked closely with youth athletes to develop technical skills, confidence, and game understanding in a positive and supportive environment. She is passionate about mentoring young players and helping them grow both on and off the field while fostering a genuine love for the sport.
